The KCCCA has partnered with the REACH Healthcare Foundation on a new project! The purpose of this project is to engage a statewide community of nurses and other healthcare providers invested in fostering a culturally competent healthcare workforce to address the complex health issues among diverse populations to achieve health equity and well-being.
We will be working across the state to develop regional networks to facilitate community engagement across healthcare sectors and health professions academic institutions. Our goal is to create dynamic, innovative, and sustainable virtual communities of leaders who embrace diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency and are willing to mentor colleagues and students to be strong advocates for social justice and health equity.
